Meet Jake our NDIS support person
We are excited to introduce Jake McKeown, who has recently joined Harbour Therapy as a Support Worker. Jake will be working alongside our team to provide therapy-integrated, goal-directed supports for participants.
Jake grew up in the Milton/Ulladulla area, where his love for the outdoors—surfing, hiking, and exploring nature—has instilled in him a strong sense of balance, resilience, and adaptability. These qualities shape the way he supports our clients: calm, encouraging, and focused on helping each person achieve their goals.
Jake has also completed the NDIS “Quality, Safety and You” – Worker Orientation Module training, ensuring that his work aligns with the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and participant-centred care.
As part of his role, Jake will be supporting NDIS participants to:
Build daily living skills such as cooking, routines, and personal independence.
Access the community with confidence, including social and recreational activities.
Practice communication and social skills in everyday environments.
Reinforce therapy programs in collaboration with our Occupational Therapists.
Explore opportunities for vocational and life skills development.
Jake’s approach is hands-on, client-centred, and always aligned with Harbour Therapy’s values of providing integrated, meaningful, and empowering support. We are confident he will be a valuable resource for both participants and our provider partners.
